JOHNNY.

Hi, I'm Johnny!

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art and French, living briefly in New York City and Paris, France. Along the way I learned graphic design and photography, yet my language and multicultural interests led to a rewarding career in teaching English and American culture to immigrants, refugees and international students at the college level. My patience, empathetic nature and innate desire to help people were great benefits in the classroom and in conducting countless intake interviews with nervous newcomers. 

 

After a career in education, I'm ready to apply my varied skills and experiences to the field of UX/UI design. I was also a performing and recording musician, which led to hosting live music shows. Several years ago I started my own nonprofit entertainment business and built the brand, logo and website, and was granted a trademark. Whether it's graphic or interior design, events or landscaping, I love working with other people on projects from beginning to end.
